Netflix is the best. For one simple reason. They aren’t the greedy bastards that is the Blockbuster. I have done business now with both these companies for a number of years. My over all opinion for each company comes down to how they treat their customer in the wallet, and my opinion is not on how they do their business just today, but how they have done their business over the years. Number 1, blockbuster screwed people with late fees! This company made too much money from this model for too long. So it came as no surprise to me when BB was sued over it. Take that BB! Of course the only real winners in class action suits are the attorneys, but that isn’t the subject here. Back on topic, number 2, BB raised their monthly payment by a few bucks! Bad move BB. Netflix did the exact opposite. So, my opinion of BB is extremely low. I hate them. I will be glad to see them go out of business completely. I love seeing their empty stores. I despise greed, so i despise BB. Netflix rocks, BB blows chunks!

Basically, the services are so very similar, that it really depends from person to person. If I lived closer to a Blockbuster location, I’d probably consider the switch.

I like options. And I like instant gratification.

Block buster, with their current in-store exchange program, gives me an option of instant gratification, if I feel the need for it.

So, my vote (for now) goes to blockbuster.
