Be a Film Producer, Thanks to Ebay!

It doesn’t make a lot of sense for me to say “a friend of mine makes independent films.” Why? Because a lot of my friends make independent films! I went to film school, after all. But I do have one friend that is very, very ambitious (some would say “overly”), who makes several independent films outside of the ones he gets school credit for.

Of course, one of the problems with being “overly ambitious” is finding the money to keep on keepin’ on with your grand ideas. Not a problem for my friend though, because he came up with an idea:

Selling “Producer” credits on ebay. Update: The credits sold out within 24 hours. He put up a new listing, selling “Executive Producer” credits for another part of the three-part film series.

There’s no guaranteed return on the money, but if you ever thought it would be cool to be listed as a “producer” on a film (including a listing on IMDb), here’s your chance.
