Jason,

1) Yes, the initial deposit and the $25 bonus will sit in the account, untouchable, for 10 business days.
2) I haven't done any fund transfers so far besides the initial opening deposit. This took about 2-3 business days, which may well be on Bank of America's end, and not ING - BoA has always been slow to do these kinds of things for me.
3) You can get up to 25 referrals. They have to be "new accounts" - so if someone already has the Orange Savings, you can refer them for an Electric Orange Checking. However, you can send multiple referrals to the same email address. I send the referral emails to one of my email addresses - that's how I get the referral links to put up here.

I hope that helps!

Hi Steph,

Gotta few questions about ING as I'm thinking of opening an account with them for my emergency fund.

1. Is there a minimum amount of time the initial $250 needs to remain in the account before the $25 bonus in received?
2. How long do the fund transfers usually take between your bank and ING?
3. How many times can you refer someone?

Thanks!
