Hi Steph,
Gotta few questions about ING as I’m thinking of opening an account with them for my emergency fund.
1. Is there a minimum amount of time the initial $250 needs to remain in the account before the $25 bonus in received?
2. How long do the fund transfers usually take between your bank and ING?
3. How many times can you refer someone?

Jason,
1) Yes, the initial deposit and the $25 bonus will sit in the account, untouchable, for 10 business days.
2) I haven’t done any fund transfers so far besides the initial opening deposit. This took about 2-3 business days, which may well be on Bank of America’s end, and not ING - BoA has always been slow to do these kinds of things for me.
3) You can get up to 25 referrals. They have to be “new accounts” - so if someone already has the Orange Savings, you can refer them for an Electric Orange Checking. However, you can send multiple referrals to the same email address. I send the referral emails to one of my email addresses - that’s how I get the referral links to put up here.
