I've got pesto plans for it, and maybe basil lemonade. The first plant I grew myself was some basil from seed. It was part of a 2nd grade girl scout badge. I still have the plant, and it's still alive... although much weaker. I still get enough leaves to use a few times a year. :) Good luck with your garden. The bruschettta chicken recipe I posted a few days back uses basil, its one of the few recipes I use basil in, but it's one of our favorites.
