A lot of stocks are down right now because of the economy, but Kodak has been hurting for a long, long time because of the digital photography revolution. Layoffs from Kodak are old news in Rochester - there was actually a newspaper article here a few years ago that started out with "Layoffs at Kodak are hardly news anymore..." It's still a great place to work for many people, but it's not as secure as it used to be. If you think about it, no job is really secure.
