This month can’t pass without some bittersweetness. It’s one of the very last of my college career, and the real world looms heavy on the landscape. Oh, alright – I’ll just admit it: I’m terrified. Blah! At least I can always rely on the numbers – here’s how January stacked up:
Change: $68 or 0.18 %
Not great, not bad, just… January. I only got one paycheck in January, or else it would have been higher. As of January 30th, that job is done… forever. Which is bizarre to me, since I’ve been working there since September of 2005. It’s time to move on and find "career work" now.
Oh, and my one share of Kodak stock is down to less than $5 now – it was at $26 when I started tracking with NetworthIQ. How depressing is that? It also gives you some idea of the economy of my area – for many years, Rochester relied on Kodak as a big source of revenue and employment.
Fun times. Let’s see how I can make it work for February… and beyond.
