Man, I want a Nintendo Wii. I mean, really. Lots of things tempt my wallet: 100 Grand Bars, Super-Special-Ultimate-Edition DVD sets, Buffy action figures… you get the idea. But few things really pull at me the way the Wii does. I mean, it’s so white and shiny – like a giant iPod, but better because it hooks to an actual screen instead of a dinky screen smaller than a Post-It (or in the case of my iPod shuffle, no screen at all!), and better also because it has games instead of just Steve Miller Band MP3s.
I think I got a little sidetracked there. This happens when I think about the Wii, and how cute it would look in my living room. And how all of my friends would actually visit me if I had a Wii. What was I talking about again?
Oh yes, that’s right. John Chow, he that is the root of all evil, is doing a Nintendo Wii Giveaway. Ooo, a Nintendo Wii, and I don’t have to put out any cash for it? Dude, I had the EXACT same thought! But I’ve decided to hold off on a John Chow review until I move to poorerthanyou.com – it’s part of my plan for fighting off the dreaded “traffic dip” that you get when you move to a domain.
everyone should buy a wii, best console i have ever played. when my mates come round we always put it on. cant recommend it enough
The nintendo wii’s are a great console. They are more of a interactive social console than consoles like the Xbox. This is purely because they are more involving and are great at parties etc. I personally prefer my Xbox 360 as it is more competant, and more of a serious gamers console…and xbox live is fantastic. The Wii is classed as a gimmick by some, this is partly because it is last generation graphics. I think the wii accessories that you can get for it are great though. Such as the wii boxing gloves, sports accessories, and gun etc. They bring the game to life a little more.
All in all.. a good console… how could millions of people be wrong?

I love the Wii I think it’s the best console ever. Also nothing better than free stuff. You have to give Chow some respect he knows how to draw people to his blog.

The Wii is probably the most unique console out of this generation, every household should have one, they’re so fun for parties etc.
I agree. Wii is the most popular game console last 2008 til now. But I think Project Natal will take place when it will be launched by 2010.
