Happy April Fool’s, everyone! I’d try and play a trick on you, but honestly, I didn’t think far enough ahead to plan anything. Instead, I’m going to give you some advice: don’t let anyone fool you into paying for things you don’t need, or even worse, things that don’t exist! Listen to this hilarious recording of a guy trying to trick a young woman with made-up car repairs.
I would hope no one reading this would fall for “headlight fluid” or anything like that, but if you’re worried that you might get ripped off by a mechanic, then simply take a trusted friend who knows a lot about cars with you when you take your car in.
And remember, tires are interchangeable, left to right and front to back!

stopping by to say hello. i’m curious to know did all 10 of your friends have to sign up for the promotion in order for you to receive your ipod shuffle???
Tanyetta,
I assume you’re referring to the WOWIO iPod promotion. Yes, ten of my friends had to sign up for WOWIO and cite my email address as the referrer in order for me to get my iPod. They didn’t necessarily have to get any referrals themselves, though, just sign up for WOWIO itself.
Actually, not all tires are front to back, right to left exchangeable. Lots of high performance tires are directional, which means they can only be “rotated” front to back. In addition, I’ve seen quite a few cars with different aspect ratios and widths front and rear. (Aspect ratio is the distance between the rim and where it touches the ground). If you have this setup and directional tires, you don’t get to rotate your tires at all.
